Amr Osman

Amr Osman is Head of Device R&D at Atlantic Quantum, where he leads efforts to test and optimize new device fabrication architectures in Sweden.

During his PhD at Chalmers University of Technology, Amr focused on improving the reproducibility of Josephson junctions, addressing material imperfections that contribute to qubit decoherence, and developing strategies to mitigate crosstalk in superconducting quantum processors. Before joining Atlantic Quantum, he worked as an Application Engineer for Smart Integrators, the primary distributor of National Instruments and Quanser products in Egypt.

Amr holds a PhD in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology from Chalmers University of Technology, an MS in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology from KU Leuven and Chalmers University of Technology, and a BS in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the American University in Cairo.
